Beth Bennett Acupuncture
I qualified from the College of Traditional Acupuncture in Warwick with a first class BA (Hons) and Licentiate of Acupuncture after three years of study. I am a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC), the Acupuncture Fertility Network, and the Oxford Acupuncture for Childbirth Team.
I comply with current UK health and safety legislation and the BAcC's own Codes of Safe Practice and Professional Conduct. I also hold full medical malpractice and public liability cover, and am registered with the relevant local authorities to carry out acupuncture.
I ensure that I keep up to date with new research and techniques by attending a variety of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses each year including the British Acupuncture Council's annual conference. Recent courses include using acupuncture for PCOS, endometriosis, men's health, red flags in pregnancy and using the Balance Method for pain.
I enjoy the variety of general practice, and am passionate about sharing the benefits of this wonderful system of medicine with my patients. I also have special interests in emotional issues including anxiety and depression, and also in using acupuncture for male and female fertility concerns and gynaecological problems. I offer supportive care during pregnancy and pre- and post-birth treatments.
I also hold an ITEC Diploma in Holistic Massage and sometimes use it alongside acupuncture treatments.
